I read this book as part of a book bundle, but stopped reading that bundle to read the second one in the series. I have already pre-ordered the final book! It is going to drive me crazy to wait for its release! This series will keep you guessing, never knowing what you will find on the next page! I can't wait for the next book! This series has had me captivated from the first book... I don't know what I would have done if I had come across it sooner.. the suspence is killing me and I don't have that long to wait for the next one!
Masterpiece Unraveled is the second installment of the Masterpiece Trilogy. Becca and Hunter have finally found their way back to one another. Yet, the happily ever after has been thwarted by their haunted past and desperately needing answers. Nikki is one of my favorite go-to authors! Well done!
Twenty years are finally taking their toll on one partner. It's not easy and more than a little tense in the relationship. Neither party is doing well. There are times when people need to lean on each other because they are too weak to stand apart. The mystery of who and why is not helping anyone. Without answers it's impossible to heal or move on. OK Ms. Barrett, now that you have me hooked, get on with the next one please. I need answers!
Nikki Lynn Barrett has done it again! Love, suspense, and a great mystery will keep you turning the pages. Becca and Hunter are two friends who take their relationship to the next level. At the same time, they try to find a way to heal, and leave behind their tragic pasts. When you think things are finally going to work...BOOM! Ms. Barrett drops another bomb. I can't wait to read the final book in the trilogy, and see what kind of 'masterpiece' the author has come up with.

WOW!!! Nikki Lynn Barrett has done it again with such an amazing book. Hunter and Becca’s story is filled with so many emotions, secrets, determination, overcoming fears, support, admiration, and LOVE! I absolutely love these two. No matter what else is going on in their lives you can just feel the love that they feel for one another. I was completely captivated by this story in book one, and book two was the same way. I could not put it down. The ups, downs, twists, turns definitely kept me on the edge of my seat. OMG, I cannot wait until the next book. I so desperately need to know what is going to happen next.
The second book in the Masterpiece Trilogy The closer Becca and Hunter get to finding answers, the more questions they have and the more their relationship and their very existence is threatened. Both are still having recovery issues from the plane crash they survived as children, and as they both work on healing, they both get deeper and deeper involved in suspense, mystery and intrigue. Some questions are answered in this book, however, more arise. Who is this mystery person trying to tear them and their lives apart? Someone has to now something about that crash so many years ago..... I was taken in right from the beginning of this book, as with the last one, I MUST know what happened. My heart goes out to the couple as they navigate their way through so much heartache to try to find answers. I am looking forward to the final book in this trilogy to find out the answers!! Don't miss out on this book!! The author did a great job writing, I felt I was there with Hunter and Becca throughout the book.
In the second installment of the Masterpiece Trilogy, Becca and Hunter search for the truth about their past connection. At the start of the book, Becca is still unable to speak—a psychological response to extreme stress. Becca sustained traumatic brain injury in the plane crash that killed Hunter’s and her families. Twenty years later, the brave young woman, who’s also a talented artist, is coming to grips with the secrets that shroud her life.
Hunter suffers from PTSD. The author did a commendable job of portraying the devastating effects of the condition. Despite their personal issues, Becca fights for the man she loves, and Hunter does his best to stand by her. Throughout the story, the couple endures a lot of ups and downs and much heartbreak.
Although A Masterpiece Unraveled sheds some light on Becca and Hunter’s troubled pasts, the puzzle remains unsolved. With any luck, A Forever Masterpiece will fit the pieces together for Becca, Hunter, and fans of the series, which is now available in a boxed set.
